My eAccount is managed by the London Borough of Islington. In entering our site you as a user are accepting our terms and conditions.

London Borough of Islington will endeavour to ensure your personal data will be processed in accordance with the Principles and Rights of the Data Protection Act 1998 and any disclosure(s) made will be in accordance with our Notification 'Z6018243' registered with the Information Commissioner, which can be viewed at the Information Commissioner's Office website.

Our web server automatically collects your IP address. We use this data to assess the popularity of services provided in our website, this will enable us to improve the services provided to you and meet the demands of our users. This information is kept for a maximum period of six months only to provide statistical returns on the use of London Borough of Islington's website. We do not identify any individuals from their IP address.

From 1 January 2005, the Freedom of Information Act gives you the right of access to information held by the council, subject to some exemptions (in which case we need to explain which of these apply). Accessing some information may incur a charge.

London Borough of Islington reserves the right to monitor the use of the council's email (incoming and outgoing electronic mail) and internet system to ensure effective and appropriate use, and other lawful purposes when required.
